Digital Video Camera as Workshop - 1 Day Class - $295

The core tool of video production is the video camera and with the proper techniques and foundation shooting with the new digital video cameras its easier than ever to make beautiful pictures . This one-day workshop covers the basic vocabulary and practice of working with video cameras through demonstrations, screenings and exercises. We will focus on the underlying principles of how a video camera operates while fi nding solutions for the practical problems, including those inherent in the low-budget production. Through exercises we will set up different shooting situations including commercial/promotional, news gathering, and narrative style videos.other topics include camera choices, power, placement and use will be covered for a variety of shooting situations. Additionally, your encouraged to bring your own equipment so you can develop strategies for real world situations. The goal of this class will be to help you to take control of the craft of videography so that it can enhance your video productions.
