Basics of Lighting Workshop - 1 Day Class - $295

This one-day workshop covers the basic vocabulary and practice of lighting for video through demonstrations, screenings, and exercises. We will focus on the underlying principles of lighting while finding solutions for the practical problems, including those inherent in the low-budget production. Through exercises we will set up different lighting schemes, including lighting for interviews, product shots, and chromakeying. Instrument choices, power, color, temperature, continuity, high and low key lighting, and safety procedures will all be addressed. Your encouraged to bring your own equipment to develop strategies for real world situations.
